IN VAIN: Upcoming CD To Include Behind-The-Scenes Video Footage

December 3, 2008

Norwegian extreme metallers IN VAIN have issued the following update:

"Our [upcoming sophomore] CD will include a video about the recording process, rehearsals and other stuff. We will also include an interview with the band and if you have any questions you would like us to answer you can send them to [email protected]. In general, the questions can be about anything, but we will not include questions which we find totally uninteresting for the 'average' viewer.

"Stig [Reinhardtsen] will enter the studio soon to finish up the work on the drums (not the actual recording of them). The final mixing, etc will be done in late December and hopefully we will be done by the end of the year."

IN VAIN's new album is tentatively due in February 2009.

The band released its full-length debut, "The Latter Rain", last year via Indie Recordings. The CD was recorded at DUB Studio (GREEN CARNATION, BLOOD RED THRONE, CHAIN COLLECTOR) in the summer/fall of 2006 and involved close to 20 guest musicians and several guest vocalists, such as Jan K. Transeth (IN THE WOODS...) and Kjetil Nordhus (GREEN CARNATION, TRAIL OF TEARS).
